PARK PERMITS

Park Permits will be available for Parkland Park, Van Houten and Swapka Park on Feb. 1 for residents and Mar. 1 for non-residents. Permits can be obtained from the Dearborn Heights Parks & Recreation Department, 1801 N. Beech Daly Road. Call 791-3600 for rental rates and date availability.

Please Note:  No refunds will be given for any cancellations made less than 30 days prior to usage.

***All rentals over 200 people may only reserve Parkland Park Section C and will be assigned Pavilions C-2 and C-3.***

A refundable security deposit of $100.00 is required for any non-resident or business rental over 100 people.  In the event of inclement weather, you will have the option of rescheduling your date in 2009 or receiving an inclement weather voucher that will allow you to use it to book a rental in 2010.  You must contact the Parks & Recreation office within (5) five business days of original permit day to request a weather related adjustment.  No refunds will be given for any cancellations made less than 30 days prior to usage.

Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed in any City of Dearborn Heights Parks.  The exclusion will be for organizations that currently hold a liquor license with the State of Michigan that can be transferred over as coverage for consumption.  Proof of liquor liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 naming the City of Dearborn Heights as an additional insured party must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to your rental.
