Mission Statement
The mission of the Dearborn Heights Police Department is to protect life and property, preserve the peace, prevent crime, agressively pursue violators of the law and enhance the quality of life of the residents of Dearborn Heights.  To accomplish this mission, the members of this department will work in cooperation with the community and other law enforcement agencies in a manner which reflects the highest degree of integrity and professionalism and will strive to make the Dearborn Heights Police Department a superior 21st century police department which is progressive, proactive and professional.
