Election and Voting InformationThe City Clerk's Office conducts local, state and federal elections. Individuals wishing to register to vote may do so by coming to the Clerk's Office during normal business hours. To register by mail, complete this form and return it to the Clerk's office. You must vote in person the first time after registering by mail. The exception to this law is if you are over 60 years of age. If so, you may apply for an absentee ballot by contacting our office. To be eligible to vote in any upcoming election, you must register at least thirty days prior to the election date.
February 28, 2012 U.S. Presidential Primary Election
The U.S. Presidential Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. The applications for absentee ballots are currently available in the Clerk's Office. Please be aware that you must request either a Democratic or Republican ballot on either your absentee application or while voting at the polls.
If you register to vote after January 30, 2012, you will not be eligible to vote in this election.
