Human Resources Department

The textbook definition of Human Resources deals with management of people within an organization. Our City’s HR Department has a number of responsibilities that come with this title. These responsibilities include: recruiting and hiring new employees, maintaining employee relations and labor relations, record management, development and implementation of organizational policy, facilitation and adherence to the Civil Service processes, and the administration of benefits for the City employees and retirees. The Department is also involved in the short- and long-term planning for the City.

 

Office Location

The office is located at City Hall (6045 Fenton, Dearborn Heights, Michigan 48127). Our office is located in the back of the building.

 

Regular Office Hours

8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday
