Corporal Jason Makowski was shot and  
killed after responding to a call involving 
a man walking around with a gun and
threatening garbage collection workers on
Norborne north of Ann Arbor Trail.

Patrolman Robert Dowidait

End of Watch: 08/22/1966 

Patrolman Robert Dowidait was killed 
during a high-speed pursuit when his
patrol car skidded off the roadway and
struck a tree on Warren Rd near Silvery 
Lane.
